The Renaissance Performing Arts Association is pleased to announce that they have met their 2017 Annual Fund Campaign goal of $110,000. 135 donors contributed to the success of the campaign.
Matching funds totaling $45,000 provided generously by The Richard and Arline Landers Foundation and Sharon Granter, in memory of Don Granter, challenged Renaissance supporters to successfully meet the aggressive campaign goal.
“We’re incredibly grateful to the Landers Foundation and Sharon Granter, and all of the donors who generously gave to support the campaign this year,” states Mike Miller, President and CEO of the Renaissance. “While the goal was ambitious, we were confident we’d reach our campaign target with these partnerships in place.” Among the donations received as a part of the campaign included a $25,000 grant from The Sterkel Fund.
Sandi Arnold, Director of Development stated, “Not only am I grateful for the dedicated and the new donors to the campaign and the incredible matching gift partnerships, I am also grateful to the entire Renaissance Team and the ENCORE League of the Renaissance for their work and donations that made this campaign success possible.”
Funds generated from the Annual Fund Campaign support the annual needs of the Renaissance Performing Arts, enabling the organization to open its doors to over 40,000 local and regional community members annually, with 15,000 of them being area students. The Renaissance presents 60 live performances annually, leads and conducts 12 distinct arts programs and partnerships, serves 40 area schools by providing lessons plans and in-school chamber ensemble performances, and is the venue for a variety of community events each year.
