Tuesday Fire closes Part of West 4th St. in Mansfield

A Tuesday morning fire closed a part of West 4th Street in Mansfield.  A blaze at 296 West 4th destroyed the back part of the 4 units in the building, which the fire department considered a total loss. The front part of the structure is not known if it’s livable, according to RichlandSource.com.

A few people were home at the time of the fire, but no one was hurt. The cause is under investigation. The Red Cross is assisting those affected by the fire.
