Mansfield to Benefit From Historic Preservation Credit

The City of Mansfield is among 11 communities that will benefit from over 28 million dollars in Historic Preservation Tax Credits announced this week by the Ohio Development Services Agency. Mansfield was awarded the funding for preservation of buildings at 46 Park Ave. West and 159 North Walnut Street. The Park Avenue West building dates back to the 1890s while the North Walnut Street building dates back to the 1860s The North Walnut Street building has been vacant for over 50 years. The Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credit program is administered in partnership with the Ohio History Connection's State Historic Preservation Office.
