Ashland County Prosecutor - Criminal Cases Down 15% in 2017
Overall criminal cases were down around 15% in 2017 in Ashland County compared to 2016.
Prosecutor Chris Tunnell told RichlandSource.com this is due to the way drug cases are processed. Tunnell expects to see a slight increase in the next year by about 20 cases. Tunnell’s budget for his office that he submitted to the Ashland County Commissioners was up just over $3,300 from this year. Tunnell said the reason is for a 3% raise for his employees.
