A new scam is going around the Mansfield area and it's geared toward doctors offices. Major Joe Masi of the Richland County Sheriff Office says, " We are having a person impersonate an officer calling doctors-offices and stating we need to talk to them in reference to a legal manner. The person is stating their name is deputy Mark Davis. Masi says the person is also talking about posting bond for a warrant issued on them. Anyone getting a call like this is asked to call the Richland County Sheriff Office.
