A group of people that wants to raise chickens within the city limits of Mansfield has a new proposal on the table. RichlandSource.com reports, the group “Citizens for Mansfield Backyard Chickens wants to allow 24 people for up to two years, raise chickens and then be evaluated.
If all goes well, then the program could be put in place for the entire city. Mansfield City Council voted 7-1 against the Chicken Ordinance back in March.
