Pit bulls are no longer illegal in Mansfield. This after City Council this week made it official by drafting legislation about dangerous and vicious dogs.
The City of Mansfield had a ban on pit bulls, but a ruling by the 5th Circuit Court says you can’t be breed specific. There are 2 more pieces of legislation coming for owners who don’t register their dogs and let them run loose.
