Tuesday is Election Day and polls in Richland County will be open from 6:30 am until 7:30 pm. Voters in Shelby will be voting on a bond issue for a new pre K – 8th grade building and a new football stadium. The cost to a owner of a $100,000 home would be $136 per year.
The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging has a 1 mill renewal and an additional .5 mill over the next 5 years. The cost to an owner of a $100,000 home will be just over $51.00 per year.
The city of Ashland will elect a new mayor. Voters will choose between city council members Matt Miller and Sandra Tunnell, who will take over for Duane Fishpaw.
