Clear Fork, Shelby and Lucas in Final Football State Poll
The final High School Football State Poll of the year is out, as the playoffs begin this Friday.
In Division IV, Clear Fork and Shelby both finished perfect season’s at 10-0. The Colts went unbeaten for the first time in 52 years (1965), while the Whippets went 10-0 for the first time since 1998 and only the 5th time in school history (123 years.)
Clear Fork is the #1 seed and will host Lorain Clearview (9-1) on Friday, while Shelby is the #2 seed and will entertain #7 seed Wauseon (8-2)
In Division VII, Lucas finished up 8-2 and clinched their 4th straight postseason berth. The Cubs will host Glouster Trimble (8-2) on Friday night in the opening round of the playoffs.
