Ashland City Council has given the go ahead to a Minnesota company to move into a vacant building on Faultless Drive. RichlandSource.com reports, City Council approved an abatement for the company IF & O Products and Feed Fat Company LCC, to expand their business, which is based out of New Ulm, Minnesota.
The company produces fat supplements for cows and pigs. The deal is a 75% reduction of property tax over 10 years. The company is investing $7 million in the Ashland area and will create 10 full time jobs, which will pay a combined $800,000. The company will move into the former Americarb building.
