Mansfield Hoping To Do More With Ocie Hill Building

Mansfield City Council is drafting legislation to bring together the Parks Board and Recreation board all into one. Councilman Cliff Mears says that this will allow the city to do more things with the Ocie Hill building on Bowman Street. Right now, Ocie Hill is used for a reading center and other things. 

The new Parks and Recreation board will be led by Mark Abrams and is funded by the PRIDE Tax. The goal is to have this in place by December 1st.
