Shiloh Butcher Shop Recalls 450,000 Pounds Of Meat
A butcher shop in Shiloh is back open, after recalling around 450,000 pounds of meat last week. RichlandSource.com reports that Newswanger Meats reopened on Wednesday morning, which was 5 days after the voluntary recall was announced. The recall was due to possible insanitary conditions over the last 11 months due to its water supply that failed to meet the Ohio Department of Agriculture’s requirements. Newswanger Meats is now using water that is being hauled in until a new well can be drilled.
