There have been a lot of questions about the future of the Clear Fork campgrounds. RichlandSource.com reports Mansfield Mayor Tim Theaker talked about 3 possible options for the site at a public utilities meeting on Monday.
One option is to raise the fees for the campers, a 2nd is to privatize the campgrounds and the final one is to close it down.
Theaker says that new wells are needed to be dug that will cost $27,000. The facility needs an electrical upgrade, which can cost over $183,000. Plus, the building needs an upgrade or a brand new one built, which will cost over $337,000.
