Health Board Seeking Ownership of Lexington Avenue Building

The Richland Public Health Board is seeking ownership of its building on Lexington Avenue. The health department is part of the Sterkel Trust.  The Trust owns the land and the building, but the county commissioners have rights to the building.  

The Richland Public Health Board wants to own the facility due to recent six figure repair bills that would help their asset list.  The Health board is spending money on a building they don’t own, after repairs to the roof and parking lot of nearly $200,000.
