Mansfield To Spend $255,600 On Equipment

The city of Mansfield is set to spend just over a quarter of a million dollars on six pieces of equipment for the water and sewer departments. Councilman Cliff Mears said the city has an awful lot of old equipment and this will help serve the citizens better.Mansfield is buying a Ford 2017 F-450 and 4 GMC pickup trucks for water repair, plus an $87,000 New Holland backhoe for sewer repair. The total cost of all the equipment is just over $255,600. This was all approved by the  board of control and was in the 2017 budget.
