Poll Workers Needed For November 7th Election

The Richland County Board of Elections is still in need of poll workers to be trained to work the November 7th General Election.  Democratic Poll Workers are especially needed in the Shelby and Northern Richland County precincts, and Republican Poll Workers are needed more in the central Mansfield area precincts. The Richland County Board of Elections has openings for workers in the townships of Franklin, Jefferson, Plymouth, Washington, and Weller, as well as the City of Shelby, City of Ontario and the Village of Lexington. 



Training classes for new poll workers in Richland County have been scheduled for Tuesday evening October 10th, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. at the Longview Center, 1495 W. Longview Avenue in the Lower Level Classroom


In addition to this class, you should also attend a training session to learn how to operate the Electronic Poll Books.  The EP training class for new poll workers is scheduled for Saturday October 14th from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. and is also conducted in the Lower Level Classroom at the Longview Center.
