Mansfield Fire Department Receives $308,000 Equipment Grant

The Mansfield fire department has received a grant of just over $308,000 to keep them up to date with equipment.  The grant comes from the Department of Homeland Security and will save the city $270,000.  Thanks to the grant, Mansfield will have to pay just a 10% match, which comes out to $30,000.  The equipment needed for firefighters range from air packs to facemasks.
