Two Park Avenue West Buildings Being Knocked Down

Two buildings on Park Avenue West in Mansfield are being knocked down. The Richland County Land Bank is demolishing the structures at 330 and 334 Park Ave West.

Both buildings are actually owned by the same person and located on the same piece of land. Amy Hamrick, who is the manager of the Land Reutilization Corporation, told RichlandSource.com that the property was forfeited back in 2014 for unpaid property taxes of more than #36,000.  Hamrick said the hope is to demolish around 60 dilapidated properties in Mansfield through a fund that expires at the end of 2019.
