Andrew Miller Placed on 10-day Disabled List with Right Knee Tendonitis

The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the 2017 Major League roster:


 Recalled RHP ADAM PLUTKO (#50) from Triple-A Columbus.

 Placed LHP ANDREW MILLER on the 10-day Disabled List with a patella tendonitis in his right knee.


 

 Plutko, 25, has spent the entire 2017 regular season with AAA Columbus, posting a mark of 5-10 with a 6.71 ERA in 19 games/18 starts (106.0IP, 122H, 79ER, 41BB, 79SO).  This marks his second stint with the Indians in 2017, having spent a week with the club in June (6/16-22) without appearing in a game.  Pronounced \plett-KOH\.

 

Miller is beginning his sixth career stint on the disabled list. So far this year he is 4-3 with 2 saves and a 1.67 ERA in 46 relief appearances (54.0IP, 26H, 10ER, 15BB, 78SO, .141 avg).
