9% Pay Raise Approved for Mansfield City Schools Administrators

The Mansfield City Schools Board of Education has approved a near 9% pay raise for its administrators.  District Treasurer Robert Kuehnle told RichlandSource.com that this is the first raise in 8 years.

The pay increase will go to 36 non - union personnel and will cost $242,000.  The district is saving money by changing to a new health insurance plan, which will free up $170,000.  Superintendent Brian Garverick said that since the district hasn’t had a raise since 2009, they have seen some of its high quality people leave.
