Eleven People Treated for Overdoses

       Mansfield Police received reports of 11 overdoses throughout the City. The majority of which are believed to be opioid related.  Individuals were treated by Mansfield Fire and transported to Ohio Health Hospital for further treatment.  Mansfield Police and METRICH are investigating the source of the overdoses and are encouraging the community to report any possible source of the opioids.  

      METRICH Sergeant Steve Blust stated the METRICH Enforcement Unit will continue to target those individuals that sell drugs, especially fentanyl, and any drugs containing U47700 in Richland County. The METRICH Enforcement Unit encourages citizens to continue to be proactive by reporting suspected drug activity.
