Thad Matta Out at OSU: Search Underway for next Buckeyes Coach

Monday afternoon, Ohio State Athletic Director Gene Smith announced that Thad Matta is no longer the OSU Men’s Basketball coach. Matta has won 20 games per year over the course of the last 12 years, but has struggled recently and was not able to pull in top recruits.
Matta spent 13 years at OSU and won 337 games, which is the most in school history. Ohio State will right away begin a National search for its next head coach.
