The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the 2017 Major League roster:
Activated RHP COREY KLUBER from the 10-day Disabled List.
Optioned RHP SHAWN ARMSTRONG to Triple-A Columbus.
Kluber has been on the disabled list since May 3 after leaving his start in Detroit after 3.0 innings
the night before with lower back soreness. So far this season he has posted a mark of 3-2 with a 5.06 ERA in 6 starts (37.1IP, 38H, 21ER, 13BB, 41SO). He made a rehab start in AA Akron on May 26 (5.0IP, 1H, 0R, 0BB, 1SO, 47 pitches/33 strikes).
