Cleveland Indians Activate Chisenhall from DL: Option Naquin to AAA Columbus

The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the 2017 Major League roster:

Activated OF LONNIE CHISENHALL from the 10-day Disabled List.

Optioned OF TYLER NAQUIN to AAA Columbus.

Chisenhall was placed on the disabled list on March 30 after spraining his right shoulder on March 24 in a collision with the outfield wall in Mesa, AZ against the Chicago Cubs. He batted .268 (11-41) 1-41) this spring with 5 runs, 3 2B, 2 HR & 6 RBI in 15 spring games (.806 OPS). He rehabbed between AAA Columbus and AA Akron, April 7-12, appearing in 4 games. (5-for-15, 2 R, 2B).

Naquin opened the season on the Major League roster and has appeared in six games thus far.
