Wednesday night: Man shot several times at Benton and Park Ave in Mansfield

A man in his early 20’s was shot Wednesday night in Mansfield and stumbled into the MVP Sports Bar on Park Ave West before collapsing on the floor.  

Mansfield Police Lt. Robert Skropits said the man was shot several times at Benton and Park Ave, while standing outside a car. He was taken to the hospital and his status is unknown at this time.

Police believe there may have been some cars in the area by the stop light that saw the vehicle drive away after shooting the man.
