Be Prepared for Spring Storms: Tornado Siren Test held Wednesday

All across the state on Wednesday, Ohioans may have heard Tornado sirens going off, as part of a state wide test.

Richland County Emergency Management Deputy Director Rick Evans this is in part to remind residents that spring storms can pop up quickly and they need to be prepared.  Evans says that everyone needs an Emergency Preparedness kit and which includes a weather radio to alert them to the storms. For information on a Preparedness kit, contact the EMA Office in Richland County at 419-774-5686.
