Ashland University to play for National Championship Friday: Beats Harding 90-77 in Final Four

Ashland University will play for the Division II National Championship on Friday, after downing Harding 90-77 in the Final Four on Wednesday. Laina Snyder and Andi Daugherty combined for 48 points. The Eagles hit 10 three’s on the night and connected on 18 of 21 free throws.

Ashland University (36-0) will take on Virginia Union (27-4) on Friday at 7 pm. The game will be played in Columbus at Ohio Dominican University. You can hear it on Fox Sports 1340.

AU is trying to win its 2nd National Championship in the last 4 years. The Eagles won it all in 2013 down in San Antonio.

Virginia Union last won a National Title back in 1983.
