Mansfield St. Peter’s looking for 1st Trip to State Tournament in 27 years

Mansfield St. Peter’s has made 8 trips to the Boys State Tournament and has won 2 State titles. The Spartans claimed State Championships in 1968 and most recently in 1978. St. Peter’s last trip to Columbus and the Final Four was 27 years ago in 1990.

Friday night, this year’s Spartans (25-2) hope that they can add to that legacy, as they square off against Delphos St. John’s (20-4) in the Regional Championship Game in Toledo.

St. Peter’s also made trips to the State Tournament in 1970, 1973, 1975 1977 and 1979.
