Two Galion Students to Compete at Regional Spelling Bee at Ohio University

Two students  from the Galion City Schools are headed  down to Southern Ohio this weekend to compete in the Regional Scripps Spelling Bee.  5th grader Ben Rinehart and 7th grader Grayden Pierce will compete at Ohio University on Saturday, March 18th against 50 other students.  

Galion Superintendent told RichlandSource.com that they district is very proud of Ben and Grayden, as he knows they will do well and represent the school in Athens.    One student from Saturday will qualify for the National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C.
