Altrusa Donates Thousands of School Supplies to Mansfield City Schools

Students in need of supplies in the Mansfield City Schools have received a big donation from a local organization.  Altrusa International of Mansfield has donated thousands of school supplies to help homeless students in need of the items.  Over 200 students in the district are classified as homeless, which means living in a shelter or with friends or relatives.

 Altrusa has donated over 112,000 school supply items to Richland County students this year and has donated over 70,000 to the  Mansfield City Schools. This is the 14th year that Altrusa International is doing their Tools for Schools Project.
