Large Turnout at Shelby School Board Meeting over Incident between Gym Teacher and Students

This week's Shelby School Board meeting was moved to the High School Auditorium due to a large turnout over an incident that took place between two students and a Shelby teacher.RichlandSource.com reports that Gym teacher Bob DeLauder is currently on paid leave, pending the outcome of an investigation that involved two Dowds elementary students.

 Parents at the school board meeting were unhappy about the incident, where video according to RichlandSource.com, apparently shows two children being disciplined in gym class and one sliding across the floor on his backside.  The incident remains under investigation.
