The Ohio Department of Transportation held a public meeting this week to gather public input on the upcoming US 30 Project that will get underway in 2020. The plan will improve safety on US 30 from 13 to fifth avenue and remove the interchanges at 545 and Ohio 13. Several Mansfield business leaders and residents spoke up about their concerns over the project. A couple concerns were about congestion and also could take longer for traffic to get into downtown Mansfield.
The US 30 Project gets underway in the Spring of 2020 and is expected to be complete in 2022.
