Malabar Librarian Maxine Johnson Honored at BOE Meeting

The Mansfield City Schools Board of Education honored former Librarian Maxine Johnson Tuesday at its meeting. Johnson passed away last month after serving  the district for more than 30 years.  

The Malabar Library was dedicated in Johnson's honor at the meeting. RichlandSource.com reports that around 50 of Johnson's family, students and friends were on hand, as a plaque was hung in her honor.
