Butler Township Farmer's Institute Presents its 123rd Annual Community Play

The Butler Township Farmer's Institute Presents its 123rd Annual Community Play: "There's No Place Like Homer"!

Beginning Friday, March 8, 2019 festivities kick off with an Arts and Crafts show and a "home cooked" lunch beginning at 11:30 a.m. The menu consists of Chili, Ham Sandwiches, Potato Salad and Home Made Pie for dessert. Cost is by donation. The Crestview High School Jazz Band will be entertaining beginning at 12:30 p.m. with juggler Matt Jergens demonstrating his talent immediately after the Jazz Band wraps up.

Saturday, March 9, 2019 lunch will be served again at 11:30 a.m. with the menu consisting of "home cooked" food consisting of Vegetable Soup, Sandwiches, Potato Salad and home made pies for dessert. Again, the cost is by donation. The Crestview Choral Ensemble will entertain at 12:30 p.m. with The Nickel Plate Bluegrass Band beginning at 1 p.m.

Play dates for There's No Place Like Homer are March 8th & 9th, March 15th & 16th, and March 22nd and 23rd. Play begins at 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. as door prizes are handed out after each performance.

Tickets go on sale, beginning Wednesday, February 20th. Reserve your seats now by calling Katina Eichelberger at 419-895-1030. Cost is $4.00 per ticket. If there is no answer, simply leave your name and contact information and your call will be returned.

Popcorn will be served during the play, so hurry and get your tickets before they sell out!
