On November 22nd, 2024, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and Marion County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jonah A. Sharp, age 22, from Kenton, Ohio. Mr. Sharp had an active warrant for his arrest, for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Crawford County Municipal Court issued the arrest warrant.
The Crawford County Detectives have been investigating the complaint, which alleged that Mr. Sharp had been in Crawford County in August 2024. It was alleged that he met with a 15-year-old female that he met online and was having sexual intercourse with her. Sharp admitted to the allegations after being taken into custody.
After the arrest, Mr. Sharp was also found to be in possession of child pornography on his cell phone.
Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and Hardin County Sheriff’s Office will be working this investigation together. Reports will be forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office in the proper jurisdiction.
