A longtime member of the Mansfield Police Department is now a member of Mansfield City Council.
According to RichlandSource.com, Shari Robertson, who spent close to 30 years working in law enforcement, was elected by the Mansfield Republican Party Central Committee to fill the term of Stephanie Zader, who resigned on September 30th.
Robertson is a Madison graduate, and has lived in Mansfield for over 37 years. Shari is one of the highest ranking female officers in Mansfield Police history. During her career, Shari Robertson’s grant writing helped the Mansfield PD bring in over $11 million.
She plans to run for election in 2025.
