The Shelby Whippets improved to 2-0 on the season on Friday, August 30th with a 21-10 win at Lexington.
Shelby QB Brayden Devito had a hand in all 3 Whippet TD's, as he threw for 2 and ran for another score. Kaden Price and Nic Eyster each hauled in TD's, while sophomore Brady Bowman made several incredible over the shoulder catches, including a 50 yard pass on the 1st play of the game to setup a Shelby TD.
The Whippet defense was impressive for the 2nd consecutive week and has only allowed 24 total points in two weeks.
