A former Ashland University student, who won two national titles, is going for her 2nd career gold medal at the Olympics in Paris. Katie Moon, known on the AU campus at Katie Nageotte, qualified on Monday for the Finals of the Pole Vault. She won gold 4 years ago in Tokyo and will one of 20 finalists going for the gold on Wednesday afternoon.

Trevor Bassitt, who won multiple team and individual national titles – during his time at AU,. has reached the semi-finals in the 400 meter hurdles in Paris. Bassitt will also complete on Wednesday afternoon.
