Vermillion Township – On Monday, July 8, 2024, at approximately 02:58 AM, a 2024 Mack Semi-Truck and Trailer was headed eastbound on US 30 near State Route 60. The semi traveled off the roadway to the left prior to overturning in the median. The semi was hauling a load of milk at the time of the crash. The dri ver’s status and other information will be updated at a later time. US 30 remains closed while the crash scene is being cleared. US 30 eastbound at State Route 60 is expected to open prior to 07:00 AM. Please use an alternate route for the time being.
Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
