In Madison Township, the Trustees this week passed a resolution to prohibit the sale and retail cultivation of cannabis.
Madison joins, Ashland, Lexington, Shelby and various other towns in the area, which have passed similar legislation to ban commercial marijuana operations, after Issue 2 passed statewide in November.
According to RichlandSource.com, Ontario City Council is scheduled to meet tonight and will consider a similar ordinance.
