Mansfield’s new finance director, Kelly Blankenship, is hoping city council will consider an updated investment policy, which could see the city of Mansfield investments make more money.
RichlandSource.com reports, the change would revise a policy that would then allow for shorter term investments with higher interest rates.
Council meets tonight at 7 pm, but a vote on the matter is not expected until March.
