Casey Lantz scored a game high 25 points and pulled down a game high 8 rebounds, as Shelby defeated Mansfield Senior, 73-55, at Pete Henry gymnasium on Saturday.
Lantz was one of 4 Shelby players in double figures, as Alex Bruskotter and Issaiah Ramsey each scored 16 points, while Brayden Devito chipped in 14.
Mansfield Senior was led in scoring by Rashad Reed with 15 points, Karion Lindsay added 13 and Kyevi Roane with 11.
The TYgers led after the 1st quarter, 19-18, but Shelby outscored Senior High, 21-7, in the 2nd quarter to take control in route to the win. Shelby improves to 13-2, while Senior High drops to 12-4.
