In Bellville, Village Council has placed a temporary moratorium on cannabis businesses.
RichlandSource.com reports, the move comes after the local planning commission received a request from a Ohio medical marijuana company, which was looking to open a dispensary on Ohio 97,near I-71.
The resolution will not allow any cannabis business to operate in the next 6 months, which will allow council time to gather public input.
