Mansfield City Council gathered on Tuesday for a special meeting to “opt-in”, according to RichlandSource.com, regarding pending financial settlements with companies whose products allegedly contaminated the soil at Lahm Airport.
The lawsuit was filed back in January, which listed more than 30 defendants responsible for the possible contamination in the soil and water by designing, manufacturing, marketing and distributing products containing chemicals that date back to the 1960’s.
