An OVI checkpoint in Ashland County this past weekend had two firearms seized from a vehicle.
According to RichlandSource.com, the guns were found in a vehicle in which the occupants were intoxicated. Another vehicle saw a driver arrested, who had a .179 BAC, which is more than twice the legal limit. Two citations were issued for driving without a valid license. Over 330 cars passed through the checkpoint in a two hour span, which was conducted by the Highway Patrol with help from the Ashland County Sheriff and Loudonville Police.
