The Shelby Whippets defeated the Madison Rams, 41-14, on opening night of the high school football season on Friday (Aug 18th). Shelby sophomore QB Brayden DeVito put on a show, as he scored 5 TD's to lead the Whippets to the victory. Casey Lantz caught a 53 yard TD pass from DeVito, recovered an onside kick and was perfect on extra points. (Aired 8/18/23 with Aaron Hines and Erik Will)
