No progress has been made regarding the demolition of the West Park Shopping Center in Mansfield.
According to RichlandSource.com, the city of Mansfield, several months back, granted an extension request, which gave the owners, West Mansfield Realty, until July 14th to tear it down.
Mansfield mayor, Tim Theaker, gave one final warning to the owners of the Shopping Center on Park Ave West last month. Theaker said, tear it down or Mansfield will do it, and then assess the demolition cost to the company.
Mansfield Public Works director, David Remy, said, he recommends that the planning commission grant no further extension, unless signs of progress are made, before the July deadline.
