In Ashland, trash rates are going up.
Mayor Matt Miller said, Rumpke has increased their price to deliver waste to the landfill and residents will likely see their bill go up $2.
Rumpke in a letter to the city mentioned it would be raising their base price 8%. All of this due to rising costs. There is no official date when the cost increase will take effect.
