Richland County Prosecutor, Gary Bishop, has changed his mind and will not retire next month.
According to RichlandSource.com, Bishop previously announced last month that he intended to retire, due to health reasons, on April 10th.
Bishop, who was first elected in 2016 and re-elected in 2020, said, a change in circumstances led to him changing his mind. Bishop said, his prognosis is good and plans to serve out his full term, as Richland County Prosecutor, which runs through the end of 2024.
