In Madison, the Township Trustees have approved the final budget of nearly $4 million for 2023.
RichlandSource.com reports, there were a few changes from the temporary budget, which was around $3.6 million back in December. Salary increases, maintenance and machine costs went up more than expected, which is the reason for the slight rise in the final spending plan for the year. The final budget is about 18% more than the total estimated revenue.
